CHALLENGES: Developing a connected apartment building type suitable for an urban block. Balancing affordable construction in a valuable cultural environment with the costs of underground parking. Finding solutions for servicing and emergency vehicle traffic within the block, as well as developing solutions that enhance the building’s quality.
SOLUTIONS: Developing façade elements with details that are suitable for the architecture, creating an urban appearance for window openings, and high-quality detailing at street level. Enriching the cityscape with architecture on the top floor and providing a diverse distribution of apartments within the building. Apartments feature expansive sliding glass walls between the living room and balcony, while adapting conventional construction methods to the architecture.
