CHALLENGES: Working with an old 1970s building with a low floor height, making it challenging to incorporate modern building technology. Sizing and equipping the special education rooms in the educational building to make them functional.
SOLUTIONS: The interior courtyard of the building has been covered and transformed into an open additional space. Access from the regular school areas to the special education rooms has been improved by introducing a new door. New building sections have been uniformly designed with a dark gray color to distinguish them from the older building section.
